Aiden is my best friend Mike’s and his wife Ella’s son. I can’t believe how much time has gone by. He has such a big family now and so much has changed since we were younger. I’ll bet Cindy and I will be attending many more of these in the future!

Happy New Years everyone! Wow, how time flies! 2011 has been a good year and thank you to everyone who have been such a great support to us. We are looking ahead to 2012 and are excited for our upcoming weddings and opportunities.

We want to ring in the new year with engagement photos of Aida and Steve. We did their session right before the holidays. It was an extremely cold day. Before their engagement it looked like we were in for some of Washington’s worse weather. We were worried our string of good luck with weather was going to come to an end. Fortunately for them it didn’t! We got to shoot with some great light after all.

Aida and Steve were friends for a couple of years before Steve finally won her heart over. They met at a Hispanic youth organization where they both volunteered. Steve is Chinese but he is from the Dominican Republic so he speaks fluent Spanish. It was the first time we’ve ever met someone Asian that was actually from there so it was very cool. They were easy to work with as Aida knew all the poses and Steve went right along. Even as it got dark and colder, they did not mind at all! We had jackets on and we felt the cold, we can imagine what they were feeling. Thank you both for enduring the cold weather and making our job easier.
