Archie’s first birthday felt especially meaningful because his first year was nothing short of a miracle. He faced more health challenges than most babies ever should, and seeing him now, smiling, growing, and full of personality, was incredibly special. Despite everything he has been through, he was one of the easiest and happiest little ones I have ever photographed, which made the whole session feel effortless and joyful.
What made the celebration even more touching was seeing the NICU nurses who cared for him in those earliest, uncertain days come to celebrate this huge milestone. Watching the people who helped him through the beginning of his journey reunite with his family in such a happy moment was truly heartwarming. It was a reminder of how strong Archie is, how much support surrounded him from day one, and how many people were cheering him on as he reached this incredible first birthday.
