McCaw Hall Wedding | Seattle Wedding | Linda + Dennis

Although I missed my high school reunion, attending Dennis and Linda’s wedding was like attending one. I saw many old friends I haven’t seen in years, including Dennis and Linda. Not to mention the officiant who married them was also a friend from high school. What’s funny is that before Linda and Dennis became a couple, Dennis was actually my prom date. Whoa what? Don’t worry, nothing awkward here, we were just friends. I did not have a date, so Dennis was nice enough to take me to the prom, or it was more like I took him to the prom because Dennis did not have a driver’s license at the time…lol..  Anyway enough about me and onto these two newlyweds, they have been together for over a decade so it’s about time they made it official.

Linda looked gorgeous on their wedding day, we couldn’t even tell that she didn’t have much or any sleep at all the night before their wedding, because she had so much energy throughout the whole day. They began the day with the Chinese door game, this is where the groom and his entourage arrive at the bride’s door and has to pass all sorts of test, which are mainly fun and light hearted tasks set out by the bridesmaids before he can see his bride. This is the first time I’ve actually seen this done in person. It’s pretty funny, especially when Dennis and his groomsmen had to pass a sheet of paper using only their mouth from one person to the next.

Then it was onto the traditional Chinese tea ceremony to honor and respect their family. Speaking of honoring, Linda and Dennis also honor Dennis’ father’s birthday which happens to be on the same day as their wedding day. They surprised him with a birthday cake during their reception and sang him happy birthday. Which was really sweet!

Dennis is such a lucky guy because Linda is smart and beautiful. We wish you both the best and congrats again! We hope to see your little one soon? =)
